Ledger, a maker of crypococurrency hardware, announced the launch of a corporate-focused NFT marketplace and Web3 services platform.
Company representatives disclosed the information during the Ledger Op3n conference at the NFT.NYC non-interchangeable tokens event.
The marketplace, called Ledger Marketplace, prioritizes security and transparency. According to the firm’s CEO Pascal Gauthier, the solution will eliminate problems that have arisen in the wave of innovation, protecting traders from fraud.
In the first phase, the Deadphellaz and Brick/Babylon NFT collections will be listed on the Ledger Marketplace. Tag Heuer, a member of the LVMH group, will be a partner of the marketplace.
Ledger has also launched Ledger Enterprise Create, a platform through which companies will be able to scale their Web3 projects and safely move into the non-interchangeable token space.
“We will support creators and brands all the way through their NFT journey by providing security, from token issuance to distribution,” Gauthier explained.
During Ledger Op3n, the firm also announced the launch of Ledger Quest, a Web3 game with NFT rewards, as well as Ledger Academy, an educational platform to expand users’ knowledge of blockchain technology and security issues.
During our Ledger Op3n event in NYC, we made important announcements regarding Web3 education, NFTs, hardware and more, all with the goal of making your Web3 experience more secure.
