Miners brought $1.5 million to Kazakhstan’s budget

In the first quarter of 2022, Kazakhstan’s state budget received 652 million tenge (about $1.5 million) in revenues from the activities of miners.

The Committee of State Revenues of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan specified that the payers are individuals engaged in activities in the field of digital mining.

We are not talking about taxes, but the payment, which is charged for the actual amount of electricity consumed.
